Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

child support

My son is in arrears, he is out of work right now like so many are, I have been making his child support payments for him until he gets on his feet again. We are by no means well off, and he has nothing, living here at home with his parents. His son's mother is harrassing him by phone to buy his son a car or else she is having him jailed for the arrears, and she is also demanding that he make us buy it for him.

Re: child support

First, when he lost his job he should have filed for a modification when he lost his job. Otherwise the arrears will keep building up.
