child support

my son turned 18 on may 4 2007. my ex has him in a private school ged program. the school will not give him a ged untill he completes all courses in dec. 2008. i am still paying support for him. how can i get him emancipated before dec 2008? i had a conference 2 months ago, the county would not emancipate my son

Sorry but the law for support is that a child is not emancipated until the child turns 18 or graduates high school.

As long as he is enrolled in school to get his high school diploma then support will continue.
