Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
Child Support and Spousal Support
I have received notice my wife has sued me for Child Support and Spousal Support, but not divorce. We are not separated and are currently living under the same roof, sleeping in the same bed, and I am paying all of the bills. (She is now keeping all of her income to ''get an apartment''.) I have been informed that the day she filed the claim is the day they will go back to for the support. My question is, is this even legally possible, and do I have any recourse except to file for divorce and file for custody of my children. As a side note, she has filed 5 times before for divorce, yet cancelled every single filing within days of initiation. Furthermore, the moment I file, I know this whole thing will go away, so what should I do?

Re: Child Support and Spousal Support
Well file when you are ready for everything to go away.
Good luck to you.
