Child Support
i have a 22 year old daughter that has 2 children..i paid support for her until she was 18,, now her mother went through this web site called child support.com,& they are sending me letters saying i owe her over 3,000.00 dollars.. i am paying almost 400.00a month in child support now for my other children..i woul like too know if i have too pay this..i just cant afford no more support,i have children in my home that needs clothes & alot of other things... thank you

Child support.com is a private collection agency that specializes in helping collect child support arrears. They do not, by themselves, hvae the power to compel payment. However, if you do, in fact, owe child support arrears for your daughter, they do have to be paid, even if you are paying support for other children. The fact that child support.com is not an official enforcement agency is irrelevant. If they do not get you to pay, your mother's daughter could take you to Court and seek a finding of contempt.
