You should immediately make an appointment with a lawyer to review the papers. It appears he is filing for custody to seek a court order. Is there a present order regarding a shared custody arrangement? If not there is little protection for you. Contact an attorney at once. If you would like to consult with my office then contact me.

Without a custody order in place you have very few rights you can enforce in court. It sounds like you ex got a lawyer. You are well advised to get one as well.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
