You asked about common law marriage.
Pennsylvania no longer recognizes common law marriages, unless the common law marriage was established before the effective date of the law establishing self uniting marriages.
Even then, common law marriage was not simply a matter of living together with a significant other. In order to form a common law marriage the parties had to consider themselves and hold themselves out to the world as husband and wife.
Hope that helps.
