Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Conflict Of Interest?

Is there such a thing with the lawyers involved in a divorce case? My wife and I are seperated and I got a letter from her lawyer with her intent to file for divorce. She had a previous marriage before our and has a daughter with her ex-husband (we had no children together). My question is...she has obtained the attorney that represented her ex-husband in their divorce. For several years into our marriage, we had many dealings with this attorney as husband and wife with issues involving my wife's ex-husband and the child. Forgetting the fact that I feel that it is backwards of her to hire an attorney that defended her ex-husband, but is this considered a conflict of interest since for several years we as husband and wife had to defend ourselves against this attorney?

Not necessarily unless the attorney is continuing to represent her ex-husband against her.
