Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

what is considered income in a child support case?

I have been served with papers for a child support case. my ex wife recieves a social security check for her son from his dad who has passed away. (950.00$)a month. I am wondering if she has to claim that as income when she fills out her income papers. I have no problem paying for my child, but at the same time I want to make sure she is claiming all of the income that is coming into her home. Does the s.s. check count as income for her?

For strict guideline calculations that income would not be attributed to her. It could be used to support a deviation downward if the standard of living of the parties was such that justice demanded it. I offer free consultations.
