Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Contempt

My fiance's ex is continually in contempt of the court order. He is suppose to have the children for the Memorial day holiday. She knows we had planned to take the children camping. She is claiming that she will not give him the children until late Saturday evening which she knows will ruin our plans. She has also moved and will not tell him where they are living or a phone number to contact them. he only has her cell phone and she always says the children are not with her and he can not talk to them. She claims that her Lawyer has advised her to go into contempt of the order. She also says that her lawyer has advised her to stop sending clothes with the girls so that we have to buy them for our house. If her lawyer is truely advising her to break the law, what can be done about it and what should he do about her not following the court order?

Re: Contempt

Your fiancee has to file a contempt petition. He may be able to recover attorney's fees expended to secure the relief of the court. I offer free consultations.

Re: Contempt

Since it is a court order, the only way to compel her compliance is to file a contempt petition, and within that petition, request "make-up" time, for time lost, as well as attorneys fees and costs. Please call for free consultation of need more information.
