Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

custody

My current husband of a 13 months contantly threatens to take our unborn child away b/c we just don't get along. I have 3 children already and he doesn't agree with the way I have raised them.Love and attention as oppossed to the belt and nit picking and for the

record they are all well behaved and heathly.

I do have a teenage boy who has had some issues with behavior and the law but that should not reflect on my parenting skills. This would be his first

child and the first time I have ever had to face an issue where a man thinks he can just take a child from his mother...JUST BECAUSE. What grounds does he have? I have never been arrested I work with small children so I have a clean background, don't drink or do drugs. My kids have a stable loving home and I am involved with every thing they do. I am just scared b/c my last husband put the child first( he passed away with ALS) This man is spiteful and basically just wanted a women to have

a child, regardless of what damage it would do to rip it away from it's mother. Please help.

Re: custody

The standard in all custody cases is the best interest of the child.

That said most custody battles the parties spend 20 minutes on why they are a good parent and the rest of the time tearing down the other parent.

Assuming he leaves the marital residence before the child is born or even after the child is born and you have custody of the child for some length of time his burden will be higher.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
