Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

custody fees

My ex is filing for custody and I got forms in the mail saying he filed a ''petition for waiver of department of court records and generations fees and imposing generations fees on opposing party.'' He has a hearing of some sort for this, is this something that I need to attend? Does anybody know? I'd hate to miss work & find out I didn't need to attend, but if this is a part of the custody hearing itself I would not want to miss this.

Re: custody fees

I would looks like he is trying to get out of paying some fee and having the court order you pay them.

The rule is if you DON'T show up you lose.
