Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Custody

My lawyer told me that the next step was 50/50 custody--name removed--I was emotionally drained, terrified of the oppposing attorney, and gave in to 50/50--name removed--What would it take to get this reversed--name removed--I have never run in to any other mother who has 50/50 custody and feel that I was mislead--name removed--I don't know what to do--name removed--I have little money and need to find another lawyer who will work for me and not against me--name removed--Is there such a thing as pro bono?

Re: Custody

First, you should talk to your current attorney. Short of a complete file review there is no way of knowing if he did a good job or not.

I have seen cases where mom has little or no custody. It all depends application of the best interest of the child standard to the facts.

As to pro bono representation, you qualify for that through the local bar association. You call them and ask for a lawyer referral.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
