Who gets custody

Hi, I have a question that I don't know who to ask so guess it's your lucky day. I have a friend in Harrisburg PA who wants a divorce but her husband has assured her that he will get custody of their 3 year old daughter if she leaves him. What are his chances and under what circumstances could that happen? Would her having an affair affect this? Thanks for any info.

Your friend needs to speak to a lawyer. While it would normally be irrelevant, an affair could be used in some way to show lack of fitness as a parent. Before she leaves she need sto know what she can do to increase her chances of prevailing. I offer free consultations.
