custody rights

my son has signed peternity for a child and he knew the child may not be his and he has raised the child as his for a year ans a half. him and the mother split up and know she wont let him see the child. and he pays support for the child. does he have rights to the child. we have not seen the child in over 3 weeks.

He has rights to see the child and could file a custody petition. Mom has recognized him as the father of the child and must afford him his rights as a father. For a more detailed explanation contact an attorney.
