custody

my son resides with me and i pay my ex wife child support he goes to my school district she lives out of state do i still have to pay when we share custody

You need to file for a modification on Monday. Once the child spends more then 40% of the nights with you. Child support may be reduced. If you now have primary custody she owes YOU child support.

If you have primary custody, defined as more than 50% of the overnights, you are not obligated to pay child support. Contact me for assistance in filing to have the Order terminated.

It will not terminated until you Petition the Court requesting termination.
