Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
custody
I am a 22 year old mother of a 2yr old girl. I live with my boyfriend and him and I provide and have been providing for her. Within a year her father has never halped or wanted anything to do with her. He does not work, has had a PFA on him from me for abuse, is not on the birth certificate and him and his family have been harassing me. I will not let them see the baby outside my home due to drug use and violence i have seen from him and his family. Not they are threatening to take me to court for custody. If he proves paternity what are his chances of getting custody. Also i have been writing down dates and times that i have been harassed for the court to see. What is the best thing i can do to keep them away from my daughter?

Re: custody
The father has a tough case. His PFA and the drug use would be major factors the court would have to take into consideration. You may have a case for abandonment if your current boyfriend wished to adopt the child. I offer free consultations.
