Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
Custody/Child Support
In the past several years I have been in and out of court fighting these issues. When legal fees became to much, I sold my house, gave up support and tried to make it in new state. The ex was willing to relinquish rights and let my husband adopt. TN denied it and my child with a learning disability needed better schooling so we moved back to PA. As soon as I applied he fought it tooth and nail and now its going to the PA Supreme Crt. Now he doesn't want to see the kids, it already been 2 years but he want me to provide all the medical information, report cards, insurance packets from work copies of the medical cards for no other reason to just keep fighting. He doesn't see them, he is over 6k behind in support and I have been in PA 3 months and already in court 4 times. Ready to throw in the towel and let him have the kids because I am at my breaking point in all of this. It just doesn't seem right that my children or I have to keep going through this and the court won't stop it. Any advice from anyone. Because I can't take the drama and I just want it all to stop. If I give him the kids will he be legally responsible to ensure they maintain their activities and way of life?

Re: Custody/Child Support
I suggest you wait until the Pennsylvania Supreme Court rules on your case. Then you will be able to proceed accordingly. If you give your kids to someone who does not want to see them you will, in effect, be abandoning them. You shouldn't be upset about giving the requested information to the father. Unfortunately there is only one escape from the "drama" of life and it comes all too quickly for most people.
