Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Date mistake in divorce papers

I enetered the wrong year on my ''Complaint in Divorce'' initial paperwork. The line is #4 and reads '' The Plaintiff and Respondent were married on date:------ in the State of Pennsylvania''

I entered 2002 when I needed to enter 2001. How do I go about fixing this on my own?

Re: Date mistake in divorce papers

The proper procedure is to file a pleading titled AMENDED COMPLAINT IN DIVORCE, with the correction made.

Each individual domestic relations section of each individual county will have its own rules regarding pleadings.
