Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

dating during separation

My wife and I have been separated for 5 months. We sat down in counseling and she brought up the question ''what if someone asks her out on a date?'' I said who am I to stop you and we both agreed that dating...if it happens would be ok. If I were to go out on a date could she bring up adultery?

Re: dating during separation

Probably not. Though it could be brought up in a divorce action as grounds for divorce most divorces are granted on either consent or 2 years separation.

To get a divorce based on adultery would require a trial. Trials are not cheap. If the goal is end the marriage why add to the expense.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
