Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My daughter was assualted by her boyfriend and in the process of hitting her he hit their baby. They arrested him and charged him with 5 different things. They have split custody now but I want to know about fighting him for full custody since he struck the baby in the head and was holding her as he was beating him daughter. Is this going to be easy or does he have a good chance of still keeping split custody?

Depends on what the crimes he was charged with. If any of them are one of those listed in the custody statute a conviction will make it hard for the current custody plan to work.

She should file a PFA immediately. Next would be to file for a modification to the current custody order.
