Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My daughter jus had a first part for custody for her 2 month old son. The judge said that he is to stay wit the father cause he thought my daughter was lyin to him. My daughter is very shy. And has a slight speech problem hard to express herself but she tried. So now we have to wait till februray for the custody hearing. Can u give us some advise.

The biggest piece of advice I can give in this situation is to make sure she has a lawyer. It is critical to have a lawyer in these cases. With so much on the line, it is important to have someone who knows the custody laws and procedures. If she has a lawyer, I would suggest that you follow up with him/her.

If she doesn't have a lawyer and would like to retain one, feel free to give me a call. If she can't afford a lawyer, I would suggest that you contact the Lehigh County Bar associaion.
