My daughters ex who was getting back child support from me, and i am behind just started working, and now is in jail for a felony is he able to claim the back support and get paid

He can still claim child support arrears (back child support), but cannot claim any child support while he is incarcerated. But, just so that child support does not keep adding up, you should file a "Petition to Suspend Child Support" while he is incarcerated.
