Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
Discriminated against because of Pregnancy.
I submitted a resume to a postition I saw posted on a national chat board for parents and mothers to be, that is run by an enormous national corporation. This was posted on two separate boards, one for woman who already have children, and one for those expecting. I received a call and a phone screen was conducted. The second question the screener asked was if I had children. I was honest and said yes and that I was expecting. At the end of the conversation she told me she was interested and wanted to set-up a second interview with her boss. I agreed. Thirty minutes before the phone interview she called to tell me it had been cancelled. When I checked the message board where this had been posted it had been removed from the site for expecting parents and was only posted on the site for woman who already have children. I believe I was not even granted the second interview because I am expecting. Is there anyone out there who thinks there is a case here, please let me know.

You may have a case, but I cannot tell from the facts you have given. My partner, David Dessen, handles these kinds of matters. He can be reached at [email protected]. He indicates that he needs to know the type of job you were looking for, what the job was to pay and whether it was to be full or part-time
