Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
I am still trying to get divorcd since March 3rd 1997
Since March 3rd 1997 my ex-wife to be, put in for a divorce. I have gotten a run around from my attorney. She still has not finalized it yet. My asstrainged wife and her attorney have held things up. They will either miss file or take their time on paper work. All I want to do is get on with my life. My asstrainged wife and I had no children only horses wich I said she colud have. She also took over $12000.00 out of our account. I agreed to let her have it for a speedy divorce. I was involved in an auto accident where a drunk driver hit me and left me blind in one eye. She wanted 10% of any recovery I got from a law suit. However the bills I paid off that was in both of our names would total about that or more. I have the bills to prove it. The money she took she said she would use to pay the bills, however she never did. I am going on almost 5 years of this and I have not gotten any any closer to an ending of this chapter in my life. I would like to get on with my life and have children some day since my ''EX'' never wanted them.

I am not sure what your question is. If you are unhappy with the results of your attorney you should terminate the relationship and hire a new one.
It would appear to me that an aggressive attorney should be able to resolve this matter in shorter fashion however since you have spent so much time with this attorney it would probably be best to let them resolve it. Make sure your attorney knows your concerns.
