Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
Divorce from absent spouse
Hello I have been separated from my spouse for almost 8 years and not sure where he is living. The last time I heard he was in florida. Is there anyway for me to get a quick divorce for little or no cost. I also do have two children.

Part of the problem is you have to be able to serve him with a divorce complaint. One way to find that out would be to file for support. This assumes you have his social security number. The cost to do this is around $15. On the plus side your children would get support. Assuming the DRO can find him. The bonus is you would have his address.
Not knowing where you are in Pennsylvania makes it difficult on where to send you to get help. You should start by calling your local bar association's referral service. If they don't have one they will be able to give the referral number for the State Bar Association. Depending on your income you might qualify for legal services or a reduced fee lawyer.
