Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Divorce Decree

I recently signed my divorce papers that I was served with a year ago and mailed them to the filing office and to my husbands attorneys. How will I know when the divorce is final and how to get a copy of my divorce decree. The divorce was uncontested divorce so pretty simple? I digned it after having our child but their is a child support order already in place. I want to be able to know when the divorce goes through.

Thank you,

This is the first for me and there is a lot that I do not understand.

Re: Divorce Decree

Once both parties consent affidavits are filed with the court either party can file a praecipe to transmit the record. This tells the court to send it for a judge for signature. You should receieve a certfied copy of the decress from the court. Make sure the court has your correct address.
