What exactly does this mean...''the property settlement agreement entered by both parties is incorporated into this decree without merger for purposes of enforcement''

Re: divorce decree & settlement

Generally, when a final divorce decree is issued the property settlement agreement becomes part of the court decree. This allows the court to enforce it by punishing noncompliance in contempt.
