Re: Divorce due to Imprisonment.

The sentence alone is grounds for the divorce. However, if your spouse consents you can get a consent based divorce in 4 to 5 months. There is a ninety day waiting period from the time you file the divorce until the parties can file their Affidavits of Consent.
