Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My divorce was finalized in July of 2009. I did not ask for child support at the time because I wanted to make the divorce and child custody issues as "easy" as possible. My ex-husband has always made more than me...I changed jobs in September of 2009 because my place of business closed. I am now a waitress not making as much as I did when going through the divorce. My question is: Can I seek child support now? We have joint custody. Also, I live with someone now. Is his income considered in the child support?

Yes you can always seek child support. Assuming the person you live with isn't your husband his income probably won't count as he has no duty to support you.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
