Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
During my divorce, we were granted joint custody of my then infant daughter. I have been paying child support and seeing my child every other weekend for the last 13 years. I have made every attempt to ensure that I have always been a part of my daughter's life. My daughter, who turned 13 in 2010, wants to spend more time with me and has asked to spend the summer with me. My ex-wife (physical custody) refuses to allow this and has stated that she wants me to tell my daughter that she can not do this. Do I have any recourse.

Yes, you do have a recourse. You could petition the court to modiy your current custody order and ask the court to ammend it to include the visitation schedule that you want. Given your child's age and wishes, the court may take that into consideration and thus, that would be one factor in your favor.
