Re: divorce

Even in a divorced based on 2 years separation you are supposed to be served with the following:

Divorce Complaint

Affidavit of Separation

Counter Affidavit of Separation

Notice of intention to request entry of divorce

Or Waiver of Notice of intention to request

entry of divorce

If you never got them then I'd be suspicious of his claim. He lives in the same county as you do you can check with the prothonotary at the county courthouse to see what has been filed. You can do this over the phone.

If I recall correctly your county requires a 236 Notice of Judgment to be sent to you if a divorce is granted.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
