Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
Divorce
Hello,
i am married to a desi in USA who is the citizen of usa now,he changed his attitude with me right after valima,he went to states after rukhsati...and halfheartedly used to call me as if i was a liability which he never wanted ....laters his sister created problems and misunderstandings between our families and in between i got a call for my visa, the day i was supposed to fly to Islamabad for my interview he texted to bluff me that its a courtesy msg to tell u that i have cencelled all the proceedings of yur visa and told the embassy abt it too.I still went to the embassy and they issued the visa to me,meanwhile he was not paying attention to me nor talkin to me he had put my fone on answering,i tried to talk to him to clearify the misunderstandings as it was not my fault ...in a reply he called me and abused me over the fone ..then i used my visa and i came to usa to speak to him directly ...now yesterday he called me up and abused me over the fone badly and said i aint interested and blamed me that u r not a good woman. Now i want to file a divorce and sue him...he has played with my life and hasn't paid attention to me as a wife never gave me rights of a wife , how can u help me?how strong is my case?

Re: Divorce
In Texas if you want a divorce you can get one. You don't have to prove either party has done anything wrong.
Your situation is really complicated and Texas law is very different than the laws of Pakistan. I'm sure there are immigration issues to consider as well as the divorce.
You really need a good family law attorney and probably a good immigration attorney, if you intend to try to stay in the Untied States.
