i heard you can get an affidavit

both parties sign that the marriage is over and turn it in to the court and when the court conviels it rulles on it.

kind of like that

Its not that simple. You need to file for a divorce based on consent. You then have to wait 90 days before you can file affidavits of consent. Assuming both parties still consent then with a few more pieces of paperwork you can be divorced.
