Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I got my divorce papers online. They are now telling me after I filed with the courthouse that I have to mail him his half of the papers to sign. I'm wondering whether or not I can just have him sign them in person without mailing them?

No a party to a lawsuit may not serve the other party. You can mail them Certified Mail Restricted Delivery Return Receipt Requested or you could have the sheriff serve it, Mailing will cost you about $10 the sheriff a lot more.

Depending on the grounds your using for your divorce nothing may ever need to be signed. You just have to show that he got the complaint. Did they tell you how to do that?

Did they tell you what to do if he doesn't accept service?
