Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Hi. I seperated from my husband in Aug. of 2005 and have lived seperatly since Dec. of that yr from him. We have not divorced yet...my ? is he just got a huge estate inheritance when his mother passed and I was wondering if I was entitled to half of it? We have been married for 37yrs.Thanks so much for your help.

Re: divorce

No, inheritances are not part of the marital estate and there for not subject to equitable distribution.

There are some exceptions to that rule but unless I am missing something I don't see any that apply to your situation.
