how do i stop domestic relations from freezing/seizing assets from a financial institution for child support arrears. I pay every month on time and i have arrears from when i was disabled. I have funds that were a gift for the purchase of a house i have an agreement w/and the sent a letter to freeze this money. It's not my money. My father-in-law put the money in the account so i could purchase a house for my family and him. He's elder and cannot take care of himself. He wanted to live w/my wife and i. Now they froze my account and it's not my money. how do i stop this action???? please help????

Putting it in an account made it your money.

If your father-in-law wanted to buy a house he should have kept the money in his name.

If you went in to arrears when you were disabled the time to address that was when you were disabled. Back then is when you should have asked for a modification in support.
