engagement ring and trade-in

My fiance gave me an engagement ring on Christmas 2007. He used 2 other rings of mine to trade in for this ring. They told him they gave him $1500 for the trade. We are breaking things off and now he wants the ring back but I feel I should get something towards the rings I gave him for a trade. What are the Pennsylvania laws regarding this?

He has a right to the return of the engagement ring; but heck you paid for your own engagement ring so you should get some sort of a credit against the value.
