in the event of a divorce. is alimony forever and do they take both salaries combine them and cut them down the center to decide alimony? example

one makes 25k other makes 75k does the one who makes 75k have to give the other one 25 K

In Pennsylvania alimony is not awarded as often as you think. There are 17 factors to determine if alimony is even awarded and for how long. Further, there are several events that cause alimony to end. The death or remarriage of the person getting the alimony or the death of the person paying alimony.
