What should I expect in a pre-custody conference, as I am representing myself?

Generally the conference is a meeting to see if both sides can agree to a custody order if not it goes to trial.

That said if the other side has a lawyer you would be well advised to get on for yourself. Once a custody order has been issued they are not easily changed. Further, assuming the other side filed the custody petition did you answer it?

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
