Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My ex-wife and I have joint custody of our 2 children. She currently lives in PA and I live in DE. She is planning on moving to KY (with the children) in the summer and we are trying to "iron out" the details of custody should the move happen. How can I ensure that she stays in PA util we have a satisfactory agreement?

The answer depends on whether there is a custody order or not. If there is a custody order, you will need to file in court to challenge the relocation. If there is no custody order, you will need to file a complaint for custody.

Either way, you should contact an attorney right away. Depending on all the facts of this case, immediate action may be needed.

If the child is in the central PA area, feel free to contact me to discuss this further. If not, I would highly suggest that you at least consult with someone so you are sure your interests are protected.
