Family and Father, Son relationship
When my mother and father were married in 1939, my mother was pregnant. My mother told my father that there was a possibility that he was not the father. He told her that it didn't matter that he was in love, She told me that he was. He also told me the same thing years later. I think that the other man may have been my biological father.
What rights do I have legally, because the man who raised me and has always signed everthing as my father including my birth certificate, is getting older 87 to be exact, and my sister
who is 4 years younger than I am now is telling everyone that this man is not my father. I don't want anything from my father but my sister seems to be waiting for him to die. What can I do? It does not matter now whether he is is the biological father or not because he is the only father that I have known. Can I do anything to keep my sister from breaking up the family any more than she has already done.

As the child of an intact marriage the presumption is that your mother's husband is your father. At least that how it is for determining paternity in support and custody cases. Also, given the man's names on your birth certificate it would be almost impossible to prove he isn't your father.
