Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Father getting custody

My ex girlfriend and I were only together a for about four months. We broke up and then she told me she was pregnant. I have been involved with my son since day one and also pay my child support with no issues about doing so. I am now married with two stepdaughter and two daughters of my own. My ex originally lived with her mother until about a year and a half ago when she qualified for low income housing. She then met a woman online and decided she was a lesbian (I am not judging). She then moved out of low income housing so she could move in with her girlfriend. Six months later she cheated on her girlfriend with another woman and they broke up. She then moved in with the new girl and lived their about 2 weeks before they had a fight and she moved back in with her mother. That lasted another 2 weeks until she had a fight with her mom and moved in with her Dad. Through all these moves she has dragged my son around. She is not a horrible mother but the unstability is horrible for him. Is there a good chance of me getting custody of him based on all of this.

Re: Father getting custody

The case for you is based on your being in a stable relationship and having a stable home. The part that will make it hard for you to get custody is that she has it. That said its not impossible given you location in PA the mother's choice of life style may work against her though if she's in a stable relationship the sex of her partner is not supposed to matter.
