A father dies and does not leave a will. Who inherits his property, his wife or child.

Assuming the father was the biological father of all the children that you refer to, the wife will get the first $30,000 of the estate and then one-half of the remaining (if any). Your family should retain a lawyer to assist with this or at least for a consultation.
