Father wanting to take care of son!

Father came from N.C. to take care of son because cocaine found in system of mother and baby when born, mother put in prog. and left, unable to be found, father found and took care of sick baby, baby hospitalized w/ RSV. father stayed everynite, mother never came, but called DHS. Why can't father have son instead of son in DHS system and father missing thegrowing of son until court dates come up. Son was 1mth when went in now is 4mths. We want our son. Paturnity was 99.9%.

From what you ahve stated, I do not know why DHS would not agree that the child goes with the father, if the paternity tests have come back positive. Normally, they would request clearances on everyone in his home and do a home inspection of his home in NC. I do a lot of work at 1801 Vine.
