Fault Divorce

Can you tell me what exactly does indignities mean with regard to a fault divorce - exactly what are these indignities

Not really. Under Pennsylvania rules of civil procedure require fact as opposed to notice pleading. That is you have to be a little more specific in the allegations. The exception would seem to be divorce where the fault ground of indignities is plead:

The Defendant Offered such indignities to the innocent and injured spouse as to render that spouse's condition intolerable and life burdensome.

Its impossible to know what that means so the defendant is allow to file for a bill of particulars that requires the plaintiff to lay out what exactly the indignities were. The Plaintiff must do so with in 20 days. If they don't that part of the divorce complaint goes away.
