Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
I filed for custody of my brother against my aunt & want to withdraw my petition. How do I go about it & do I have enough time? The date is this Wednesday.

Contact the attorney on the other side and express your wish to withdraw the petition. It will take a Court Order; but this can be prepared by the other attorney. Usually a Judge will sign a consent order in his or her office. You should contact the other side immediately because otherwise you may be responsible for expenses they incur in preparation. You should not simply fail to show up.
