Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
I just got a finalized no fault divorce decree, but noticed that it was filed (by a "mail order" law firm called Reisman and Davis) in the wrong county. Is it valid? I live in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania (both my ex and I have lived here for many years), and the complaint was filed in Potter county, Pennsylvania). Since it was accepted by the court and the divorce granted, is it official?

Yes it is likely official however if there is ever a problem the drive to Potter County is scenic.

Yes the time to object to venue and jurisdiction was when you were served with the complaint.
