Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

forfeiting visitation

If someone misses their visitation, can they forfeit their visitation rights and be filed with the prothonotary and each party would receive a copy of the filed document showing that the person in question lost their visitation rights due to a missed visit?

Re: forfeiting visitation

I would think that unlikely. Especially if they missed only one visit. To change their rights to visitation will most likely require a hearing in front of the judge. Its called due process.
