Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
My friend had his daughter when he was 16. She was immediately taken away from him to live with the baby's mother. He had a pretty heavy juvenile record at the time. Eventually OCY deemed the mother unfit and placed her in foster care system. He is now 18 and wants custody of his daughter. Recently he received mail stating his daughter was placed for adoption and was told there was nothing he could do. is there any hope for him?

I would need more information. He may have been given goals to achieve to get his daughter and he did not do them. OCY, under Federal and State law, need to move forward for permanancy for the child. I do handle a lot of these cases, but would nee more info. as to what has been going on.
