Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My friend and his father got into an argument and blows were exchanged. Subsequently, he was kicked out of his house and his father shredded all his important documents (social security, birth certificate, etc) and has taken $5,000 from his bank account. My friend is 18, but is there anything he can do?
